It’s a sad and happy day all at once. Tiffany is now home with her family and I am missing her already. This evening Hannah, Greg and I went for our usual evening walk and then played a game of Azul. I love having Greg here with me, but it just wasn’t the same without Tiff. Tiff, Hannah and I had many evenings of walking and playing a game afterward. I wasn’t prepared for parting – I’m going to have to work through it.
This afternoon Hannah took half a day off from work and made Greg and I a raw, vegan lunch – it was, again, wonderful. We spent the afternoon getting small repairs done around the house and getting my stuff together for the trip home. We took Greg out for a dinner of vegan comfort food. He had a completely vegan pizza and enjoyed it.
I am saddened by leaving Hannah tomorrow. It’s amazing how attached I have become to Tiff and Hannah over this time together. I have seen them every day for 6+ weeks. I have spent nearly every full day with Tiffany and have thoroughly enjoyed it. When we decided to do this plan, after Tiff was in the hospital, her husband Bruce predicted that within 4 days of being together so much we would be at each other’s throats! We had a few very small tense moments, but otherwise got along very well. I really like being with them. However, it’s time to return to my life in Indianola, IA. I’ll be back to work on Monday and am looking forward to it. I enjoy being a nurse and I enjoy the team that I work with.
I have been asked about the book “To Kill a Mockingbird” and the answer is yes. I completed the book today and returned it to the library. I have seen the movie several times and the book was very close to the movie. Some characters and small events were left out of the movie. I feel that overall, they did a good job putting that book into movie form.
I’m going to say good night for now. I will be occasionally posting blogs in the near future to keep you all up to date as to how we are doing. Thank you all for your prayers and support for our effort. I praise my Lord and God for this opportunity to work on our health and spend this time together. He (God) gave us both supportive husbands to get us through this time apart from them.

I admire what you three ladies have done and accomplished. Keep it going! I know how hard change can be!
Thank you so much for that encouragement. I posted Tiff’s MD visit results today – you’ll be surprised!
